To Czech Republic and Back Again

Bi-monthly Newsletter

Dear prayer partners and faithful supporters,

It's hard to convey our continued burden for the Czech people. We are burdened daily, constantly asking the Lord for methods that will open their hardened hearts. My ongoing campaign on Facebook has yielded better than anticipated results. Several people have responded, including visiting our church web page and corresponding with me. Last month, we began offering Bibles to people in the park. Bibles to the Nations provided a couple hundred quality bound Bibles to us to distribute. We are only giving the Bibles to people that specifically want them. We are setting up in the park with the sign and Bible stand. We distribute tracts and as individuals are interested we give them a Bible. The sign reads "Bibles to the nations, always free". In-spite of that we have still only managed to hand out a maximum of five in a two-hour period!

Tract Distribution

Moreover, it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. We know we are not responsible for the results, yet we labor as if the salvation of souls rested on our shoulders. We continue to spread the gospel in every method possible. Internet, tracts, Bibles, personal evangelism. Debra and I are also working on a couple of new tracts.

Bible Study

Pray for Michal. I will begin a salvation Bible study with him on Sunday afternoons. He is now 14 years old. He told Debra that he is too wicked to be saved. Pray for the Holy Spirit to open his eyes to the wonderful truth of forgiveness through the shed blood of the Savior.

Faith Increase

I have been teaching about following the voice of the Holy Spirit in everyday life. Janek (yanek)said he asked God about leaving his job to find a more pleasant place to work and the Lord said "go"! So he gave his notice to leave. I asked him if that wasn't a little rash. I normally counsel someone to leave after finding a new job. The notice period here is three months. Janek seemed calm and seemed to be trusting the Lord. On the day before his job ended, he still didn't have anything. On his final work day a company called him and hired him. He was so excited when he called me to let me know what God had done in his life. Praising the Lord and glad to be saved. God is still in the business of hearing prayer and leading his dear children along!
