To Czech Republic and Back Again

Family letter by Debra

September 18, 2013

Dear ladies,

The word anticipation is a good word to describe my life situation. I am anticipating so many good things in the near future, but the one thing that I am looking forward to with great anticipation is the return of our Lord and Savoir, Jesus Christ.

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 2 Peter 3:12

Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. Revelation 16:15

Even though I hate good bye, I am looking forward to seeing family and friends in the states. I am also looking forward to seeing what the Lord will do in the life of those who attend Brno Bible Baptist church and how he will use them in our absence. We are currently working on a new presentation video, which we will use during our summer furlough and then place online and on our webpage.

After talking with the girls over the past few months, we are looking forward to seeing the home improvements that Gina and Daniel have done. And we are anticipating another grandchild. Donna is due in October. The doctor told her that the baby is another girl. We will be spending the month of August in Colorado with the girls and their families. Our grand daughters are growing so quickly and I cannot wait to give and get all those hugs. I am looking forward to getting to know them better.

James and David are looking forward to completing school. We are scheduled to finish in two weeks. They have worked very hard this year and I anticipate great results on their final exams for this year. We have learned many new things and discovered our strengths and weaknesses, making this a year to remember.

As for me, I am looking forward to a slower pace in life. I am also looking forward, with great anticipation, to visiting with friends, hearing new preachers, and just enjoying the fellowship with fellow believers. I so enjoy my students and my home, but from time to time a much needed break is necessary.

Love and prayers,

Debra
